Penny Postcard Gallery

This gallery consists mainly of "Penny Postcards" but also other historic photos. These postcards originally cost 1¢ to mail. Postage was temporarily raised to 2¢ from 1917 to 1919 to cover the cost of World War I & from 1925 to 1928. All of the cards shown on this site are in the hands of private collectors. They are shown for your enjoyment.
